This is the third video, part three of Holiness and the fear of God.

It is the fear of God that keeps us from sin.
- The love of God keeps us from legalism
- The fear of God keeps us from lawlessness
Christians would not backslide if we had the fear of the Lord firmly planted in our hearts
- We would not slip or drift away from our steadfast devotions towards Jesus
- We would not take his word for granted or treat it with a casual attitude
- We would not depart from the Lord if we had the fear of God in our hearts
The fear of God keeps us continually aware that nothing can be hidden from him.
- Every word spoken – exposed
- Every thought we’ve had – exposed
- Every intention of our hearts – exposed
If we walk in awareness of that, we will live our lives Holy. We will live our lives a totally different way
It is not to be scared of God, but we need to be afraid to offend God in any way. We should have a trembling and quaking if we know that we have offended God and have not obtained forgiveness!
