If he was God, why would make a difference between himself and God? This is explained in this video. As a Jew, our Lord Jesus was speaking to Jews. Additionally, he is the bridegroom speaking to his bride. To fully understand what Jesus means when he says he is going to build mansions for us, we need to understand the Jewish wedding pattern.
